Terms & Conditions — Jinn Projects

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jinn Projects (the "Platform"), operated by Jinn Studios LLC ("we", "us", "our"), incorporated in the Sharjah Media City Free Zone, UAE. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. If you register on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@jinn.report if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or another user's account.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without our prior written consent.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the Platform for spam or unsolicited communications.

4. Client Portal & Data Isolation

The Platform enforces strict data isolation: each client account can only access data belonging to their own workspace. Admin users are responsible for the accuracy of data they enter and the permissions they grant to client accounts. You must not attempt to access another user's data.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform (code, design, trademarks, documentation) belong to Jinn Studios LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Platform without our written permission.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform ("User Content"). By uploading User Content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely to provide the Platform services to you.

6. Early Access & Free Trial

The Platform is currently in early access and provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans at any time. We will provide registered users with at least 30 days' notice before any free plan is limited or discontinued. Early access accounts may be subject to usage limits at our discretion.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available continuously, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, add features, or modify or discontinue the Platform at any time with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jinn Studios LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or AED 100 if no payment has been made).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jinn Studios LLC from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. We will retain your data for up to 90 days after which it will be permanently deleted, unless legally required to retain it longer.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sharjah, UAE. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
